Composite anchor

The application of metal fasteners on fiber-glass reinforced composite products with unsaturated polyester resins can cause corrosion. Similar effects occur in many other combinations where metal components come in contact with or are in close proximity to more inert composite materials. Our company has developed a composite anchor that eliminates the need for metal fastening to the supporting structure.

The composite anchor is a fastening element consisting of an anchor rod and a hexagonal nut with a flat washer. The center-to-center distance between the rod and nut is minimized. The outer thread diameter is 14mm, and the total length (including the thread) is 22.7mm
